Variety show set for this weekend

Performing with a Purpose, a service project by a Gardner Edgerton High School student, will showcase local talent in order to raise funds to support area families.
The high school students will perform in a family-friendly variety show, “Entertainment through the Ages,” this weekend. The curtain will rise on the show at 7 p.m. on March 29.
The variety showcase will feature GEHS students, faculty and local entertainers, and performances will feature a variety of musical genres including country, jazz, classical and barbershop music. Comedy skits and dancers will also grace the stage.
Funds raised through ticket sales will be donated the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund. The fund assists local families in need throughout the year.
