Golden Goose staff worked late into the evening on Feb. 13 preparing Valentine’s Day bouquets.  A national florists organization estimates that more than 224 million roses will be sent on Valentine’s Day this year. Marty Powell, owner of Golden Goose, said typically red and pink roses are big sellers on Valentine’s Day. This year, however, she said many customers chose more colorful arrangements with tulips, lilacs and other flowers.
