A drain hose from a clogged air cooling unit caused minor damage at Pioneer Ridge Middle School over Memorial Day weekend. Leaking water damaged three switches and the uninterrupted power supply in a secondary closet at the school. Due to the water damage, a section of the building is offline, however it isn’t affecting operations at the school.
Replacing the damaged switches and the power supply is expected to cost $36,500. School officials will file an insurance claim to cover the cost of repairs.
