USD 230 drops a day for summer hours

School offices and buildings will be closed on Fridays this summer. USD 230 administrators and staff will work a summer schedule in order to trim costs to the district. Starting June 1, district buildings will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays.

According to a press release issued by the district, the four-day work week will trim utility costs by reducing the number of days buildings will be open. It also will decrease fuel usage in district vehicles.
