University update

More than 4,000 students graduated from the University of Kansas on May 18.
Several area students received degrees during KU’s 142nd Commencement last weekend.  They include:
Nicole Bernard, of Gardner. Bernard received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Studies.
Jamie Bolen, of Gardner. Bolen received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Chandlor Burton, of Gardner. Burton received a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Carolyn Clark, of Gardner. Clark received a Doctor of Medicine.
Krista Cummins, of Gardner. Cummins received a Master of Architecture.
Deborah Dale, of Gardner. Dale received a Bachelor of Business Administration and minor in Psychology.
Kayla Duran, of Gardner. Duran will receive a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and minor in Psychology.
Shelby Gunter, of Gardner. Gunter received a Bachelor of Science in Education and minors in Business and Psychology.
Anouk Hermreck, of Gardner. Hermreck received a Bachelor of Science in Business in Accounting.
Gary Lasley Jr., of Gardner. Lasley Jr. received a Master of Social Work.
Kyle Lockhause, of Gardner. Lockhause received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and minor in Geography.
James McConville, of Gardner. McConville received a Master of Science in Information Technology.
Michael Mendez, of Gardner. Mendez received a Bachelor of Arts in History.
Devin Mullins, of Gardner. Mullins received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
Jerry Nibarger, of Gardner. Nibarger received a Bachelor of Science in Business in Supply Chain Manag.
Stephanie Otey, of Gardner. Otey received a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology.
Erica Rains, of Gardner. Rains received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language-Hearing and Bachelor of Arts in French.
Brian Terry, of Gardner. Terry received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
Zachary Watchous, of Gardner. Watchous received a Bachelor of Science in Business in Marketing.
Aberham Yigezu, of Gardner. Yigezu received a Doctor of Pharmacy.
Jamie Herring, of Garnder. Herring received a Bachelor of General Studies in Applied Behavioral Sciences and minor in Business.
Rachel Bloodgood, of Spring Hill. Bloodgood received a Bachelor of General Studies in Communication Studies and minor in Women’s Studies.
Benjamin Buyanovsky, of Spring Hill. Buyanovsky received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Sarah McCarthy, of Spring Hill. McCarthy received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Anne Quinn, of Spring Hill. Quinn received a Doctor of Pharmacy.
Megan Sullivan, of Spring Hill. Sullivan received a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia.
John Waage, of Spring Hill. Waage will receive a Bachelor of General Studies in Psychology and minor in Business.
Denise Staples, of Spring Hill. Staples received a Master of Fine Arts in Design.
Dustin Maurer, of Spring Hill. Maurer received a Bachelor of Arts in History.
