Southwest Baptist University
Justin Stout a junior at Southwest Baptist University from Gardner, is the state champion in Cybersecurity and won second place in Networking Concepts in the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda state competition.
Stout’s placement qualified him to compete at the national competition in Nashville in June.
“This is incredibly good news,” Tom DeClue, chair of SBU’s department of computer science, said.
Stout is one of nine students on the SBU Phi-Beta Lambda (PBL) team. The PBL is a non-profit education association of more than a quarter of a million students who are preparing for careers in business.

Washburn University
Washburn University student bags with blue tags – if they saw something like that to give us a call,” Wilson said. “It would be very uncommon for someone to transport a large bunch of seed late at night.”
