University update

Two future nurses from Gardner were inducted into Washburn University’s Eta Kappa Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Amy Higgins and Diane Morris, both of Gardner, qualified for the honor by completing at least half of the nursing curriculum with a cumulative grade point averages higher than 3.0 and by ranking in the top 35 percent of their class.
Higgins and Morris are both pursuing master of science in nursing degrees with concentrations in family nurse practitioner.
