University update

Washburn University student Haley Jones, of Spring Hill, will participate in a study abroad program this summer at the Wuhan (China) University of Science and Technology.
This program is designed to maximize the student’s exposure to international business and give him/her first hand international business experience through research and travel.  In addition to working with Chinese university students, the Washburn participants will interact with businesses in Shanghai and Hong Kong and work on a project related to a specific Chinese company.
Jones is a member of Alpha Phi sorority.  She is a senior and is pursuing bachelor of business administration degrees, with a concentration in general business
