University update

Dorothy Menefee, a senior at Kansas State University of Spring Hill, placed eighth High Individual in the Region 5 Soil Judging Contest at Missouri State University.
Menefee helped the Kansas State University Soil Judging Team to a first place overall finish and a third place in group judging.
The K-State team is coached by Mickey Ransom, professor of agronomy, and assisted by Kim Kerschen and Matti Kuykendall,  who are both graduate students in agronomy.
The contest is an activity of the American Society of Agronomy and the Soil Science Society of America.
