Jonathan Finley, Gardner, was formally initiated into the Kansas State Chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity along with 17 other new members on Feb. 3, 2013. Finley is a freshman at Kansas State majoring in agribusiness. He is the son of Byron and Maribeth Finley.
FarmHouse Fraternity was founded in 1905 and is recognized as a social-service fraternity with 34 chapters nationwide. Although it was established as a fraternity for strictly agriculture students, today FarmHouse Fraternity members have a wide variety of backgrounds and majors. However, the fraternity still is composed of men with strong rural values.
Throughout his time in the fraternity, Finley will be involved in activities that will help him become stronger in all four of the fraternity’s aspects: physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social/moral. Members of the Kansas State Chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity strive to be builders of men on campus by providing their members with an alcohol-free, family environment through brotherhood and fellowship.
