Trailblazer softball squad loses twice

Battling until the end, Gardner Edgerton High School’s varsity softball squad dropped a home doubleheader to Blue Valley, April 12.
GEHS lost the opener 6-4 and the nightcap, 7-5.
In the opener, Shelby Plank was the starting pitcher and got relief help from Kirsten Leffert. Mackenzie Skeens went two-for-four at the plate.
In game two, Leffert stroked a solo home run and Plank collected three hits.
