The Huskies really came to life during the second half of the evening against Louisburg and Baldwin. The girls worked together to grow through the evening.
The first game started off close against Louisburg. The girls played well overall but weren’t quite able to pull out a win.
A whole new team took the court during the Baldwin game. Bella Stubbs and Kaylee Gatlin served up some aces. Malory Ramsdale was very scrappy covering short tips and overpasses at the net. The girls played smart volleyball. They really came to life in the third set when the JV team came over to show their support. Julia Becker wrapped up the game with some vicious serves. It really helped the team rally and unite to seal the deal in victory. Coach Seyl would like to see the girls take the energy and passion they had at the end of the night into Monday’s games.
