Gardner Historical  Museum

The museum will kick off its military tribute and exhibit featuring artifacts and memorabilia from the Olathe Naval Air Station on Sept. 25.
The kick-off event will feature the Bombshell Bettys, a group of women who emulate USO girls from World War II. They will perform a dance at 2 p.m.
Between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. the Olathe Civic Jazz Band will perform music from the big band era.
Admission to the kick-off event is free, and refreshments will be provided. The military exhibit will run through October and November.
The kick-off will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 25 at the Gardner Historical Museum at 204 W. Main Street in Gardner.
