Tammy R. Ojanguren

Tammy R. Ojanguren, 51, of Baldwin City,Kan., passed away July 22, 2012 at the KC Hospice House inKansas City,Mo. 

Tammy was born May 11, 1961 inKansas City,Mo.to Juan Gomez and Martha Ona (Dodson) Lara.  She grew up inKansas City,Mo.and then moved toBaldwin City,Kan.in 1998.  She owned Tidy Tammy’s housekeeping business for over 15 years. 

Tammy enjoyed scrap booking, shopping, watching NHRA races, and spending time with her family.  She was a very caring person; she liked to help people by giving to Goodwill.  Tammy will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, and sister, Toni Lara. 

She is survived by her father, Juan Lara, Peculiar, Mo.; daughters, Bonnie Ojanguren, Ottawa, Kan., and Linda Wilks, Lawrence, Kan.; a son, Billy Ojanguren, Baldwin City, Kan.; siblings, Juan G. Lara, Jr., North Kansas City, Mo., Jimmy Lara, Albany, Ore., Pat Lara, Yuba, Calif., Cindy Martin, Peculiar, Mo., and Terry Lara, Grandview, Mo.; and four grandchildren.  

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., July 28, 2012, at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, Kan.  Memorial contributions may be given to the KC Hospice House or the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com.
