Wheatridge, Pioneer students raise ‘Pennies for Patients’

Students at both Gardner Edgerton School District middle schools raised nearly $3,000 to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in January. Mustangs and Jaguars collected spare change for several weeks dubbed “Pennies for Patients.” The 815 students at Wheatridge Middle School raised $1,200 in spare change. Firefighters respond to 2 false alarms at Wheatridge
