SFFF files legal notice of claims against Kansas legislature

Danedri Thompson dthompson@gardnernews.com Schools for Fair Funding (SFFF) is moving forward with  plans to sue the state legislature. The lobbying group comprised of Kansas school districts filed a “notice of claims” with the Kansas Senate and Kansas House of Representatives last week. SH school board increases some user fees; drops block scheduling

USD 230 launches new website

The Spring Hill School District launched a new website, www.usd230.org, last week. The new site includes a new district logo, easy navigation, media galleries and school information. It also allows teachers, coaches and administrators to share student achievements and projects. The website makeover was partially funded by a federal grant.

USD 230 drops a day for summer hours

School offices and buildings will be closed on Fridays this summer. USD 230 administrators and staff will work a summer schedule in order to trim costs to the district.
