Olathe police announced that Quinlin James Beaird was located safe and alive in Olathe today. Olathe police were searching for the 19-year-old resident reported missing by his roommates on Feb. 11. Quinlan James Beaird,  Olathe, made suicidal statements to friend during a text conversation on Feb. 9.

Gardner man charged with trying to hire a hit man

A Gardner man was charged with hiring a hit man to kill his ex-wife this morning. Rheuben Clifford Johnson, III, Gardner, is now in Johnson County jail on $1 million bond.
