BSA Troop 289 selling Christmas greenery

Spring Hill Boy Scout Troop No. 289 is selling Christmas greenery. The greenery is available for immediate delivery. The troop has a limited number of items still available including 22-inch mixed evergreen wreaths, 10-inch Western Cedar garland, and mixed evergreen centerpieces. THINGS TO DO: Flag retirement ceremony

Flag retirement ceremony Oct. 9, 6: 30 p.m. Area Boy Scouts will retire flags out at the Gardner Historical Museum on Oct. 9. Visitors are encouraged to bring old, torn or faded flags so they can be disposed properly. New flags will be available from the VFW or the American Legion.

Scout builds flower beds at Meadowbrook

Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital, located on the west side of Gardner, has a new amenity for their residents. Gardner Boy Scouts to take part in 100th anniversary

Six Gardner Boy Scouts, members of Troop 88, will celebrate the Boy Scouts of America’s 100th anniversary at the 2010 National Scout Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia.
