Spring Hill school hosts tree of warmth

Student council members at Wolf Creek Elementary School organized a Tree of Warmth Drive Dec. 2 through Dec. 6. Students collected new hats, gloves, scarves, blankets and gently-used coats to donate to the Spring Hill Clothing Closet.
Wolf Creek Wranglers gathered more than 600 items to help those in need stay warm this winter.
Students and staff members received points for every item donated, and the students who earned the most points were rewarded with a board game party in their classrooms. As another reward, teachers danced while dressed as chickens one morning at the school.
