Spring Hill Broncos split doubleheader

Spring Hill rallied in game two with De Soto and salvaged a split in a home doubleheader against the Wildcats April 2.
Spring Hill led 2-0 after one inning in game two and used single tallies in the third and 5th innings to gain a 4-3 victory. Lake Johnson was the winning pitcher and received top offensive performances from Reid Burger, Robby Haupt and Zach Girrens.
In the opener, De Soto jumped to a 4-1 lead after 3 innings and held on for a 9-3 win. Spring Hill scored in the second, fifth and seventh innings but it wasn’t enough and the Cats claimed victory.
Zach Girrens and Ryker Johnson shared pitching duties and top offensive help came from Lake Johnson, Garrett Kroutch and Dalton Young.
