Jacob  McDade scored two first half touchdowns and Spring Hill held on to post a big 14-12  Frontier League win at Baldwin, Sept. 21.
“It was a huge win for our program,” said coach Anthony Orrick.  This is a big step for our program and shows all the hard work has paid off.”
Spring Hill led 14-0 at halftime only to see Baldwin rally for two quick third quarter scores.  However, the Broncos defense buckled down and held on for the win.
Now 2-2, Spring Hill braces for another key match-up at home against Eudora.
The Cards come to town fresh from a convincing 35-7 win against Paola and will be led by Andrew Ballock  and Nick Becker.
“Eudora will be quite a challenge,” added Orrick. We need a good week of practice and to be ready.”
Kick off for the homecoming game is set for 7 p.m. on Sept. 28 at the district stadium.
