Slow start sinks Spring Hill Broncos

Spring Hill fell behind 22-13 at halftime and couldn’t recover dropping a 65-56 decision at Louisburg, Jan. 25.
“We got off to a slow start and never really recovered,” said Coach Rick O’Neil. “The kids kept battling and I was real proud of the effort.”
Despite the loss, Matt Smith had a big night netting 20 points and 3 treys. Freshman Ivan Hughes added 8 points and Cole Lillich, 5. Chris Bybee and Danny Martinez had 4 points and Danny Hodge had 3 points.  Sam Jesberg, 5 points and Kainon Clark, 2 points.
Now 6-7, 3-2 Spring Hill remained home to host Ottawa and De Soto this week.
