Falling behind 20-12 at halftime, the Pioneer Ridge Middle School seventh grade varsity boys’ basketball team dropped a 44-33 decision at Eudora last night.
Pioneer Ridge trailed by 18 entering the fourth quarter, but went on a 12-5 run to finish the game with momentum.
“We struggled to find a rhythm offensively,” said Coach Jeff Davidson. “But the kids didn’t quit and finished the game on a strong note.”
The loss failed to overshadow a 16 point, four rebound performances by Tyler Butash.
Besides Butash, Avery Pillow and Braden Smith had five points. Carson Schrack, three points. Caleb Bliss and Connor Wisecup, two points.
