Simpson, Hodge lead Baker to third place finish

Former Spring Hill  High School basketball standouts Jami Hodge and Ericka Simpson recently led Baker University to a third place finish in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
Both are freshman guards and helped Baker to a 12-6 conference record and to the semifinal round of the Heart of America postseason tournament.
Hodge was a four-year letter winner for SHHS and was one of the top 10 players in the state her senior year. She averaged 18 points per game and was a first team All -Frontier League selection her sophomore, junior and senior season.
Hodge is majoring in Business and is the daughter of Duane and Judy Hodge of Spring Hill.
Simpson was the 2012 Tri- County spotlight player while at SHHS. She was a four-year letter winner and a first team all- league player. She was the valedictorian and student body president.
Simpson is majoring in Exercise Science and is the daughter of Rick and Vicki Simpson of Spring Hill.
