SHHS blood drive set for April 27

Community Blood Center will host a blood drive at Spring Hill High School on April 27. Community Blood Center is the primary supplier of blood for local hospitals. Its staff needs to collect 580 pints of blood everyday to meet the needs of hospitals in Kansas and Missouri.
The SHHS blood drive will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on April 27 in the upper gym. Donors must be at least 16 years old. To make an appointment to donate, visit www.esavealifenow.org and use the sponsor code, “springhillhs.” Registered donors will receive a free t-shirt, however walk-in donations will be accepted on April 27 as well.
