Sherrif’s office seeks livestock owner

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office found livestock in the rural part of the county that has been separated from their owner.
The animals will be cared for until the owner is identified and they can be returned. If the rightful owner is not found, the animals will be auctioned in 30 days.
A gray Quarter horse mare and her buckskin-colored foal were discovered near 207th Street and Quivira Road this weekend. Two days later, a young brown and black-colored Suffix lamb was located in the same area.
