Christina was last seen getting into a maroon Ford Pinto hatchback in the area of Independence Avenue and Garfield Street in Kansas City, Mo.,  at about 2:30 a.m. on May 29, 1989. There were additional similarities. Both women worked as prostitutes in Kansas City to support drug habits, and both of their bodies were found within two miles of each other nude and burned.
