SH to honor Veterans

Veterans past and present, and those serving will be honored at the Veterans Day Observance in Spring Hill.  The program will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spring Hill Civic Center, 401 N. Madison.
Program includes a speaker from Fort Leavenworth, color guard presented by boy scouts and girl scouts, MIA/POW ceremony, and music from the high school madrigals and orchestra.  After the program, lunch will be served in the cafeteria.  The community is invited to participate in the celebration.  Donations will be accepted in order to help fund community service projects. Sponsors include the Cole-Smith American Legion Post 350, Ladies Auxiliary Cole-Smith Unit 350, Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Riders chapters and the Spring Hill Historical Society.
