Spring Hill High School students are gearing up for homecoming.
A week full of spirit activities will lead up to the Broncos hosting the St. James Academy Thunder in their Sept. 23 homecoming game.
Senior candidates for homecoming royalty are:  Natalie Stiles and Connor Lutz, Abby Haupt and Carson King, Hayley Berkley and Jeff Lovetinsky, and Jami Hodge and Drew Ewing.
The homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime of the football game.
A semi-formal homecoming dance follows the game with a theme of “Celebrate the Bronco Magic.”
Festivities started last Sunday with the annual powder puff football game between junior and senior girls.
The fund-raising powder puff game is sponsored by the After-Prom Committee.
Students also ramped up to the weekend’s festivities with a variety of spirit week activities.
Daily dress-up themes included college gear day, class color wars, salad dressing day, Disney character day, and Bronco day.
Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors also compted in a “Class of the Week” spirit contest, participating in sprit days, a horseshoe hunt, a pep rally and a bulletin board contest.
