Gamma Xi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi was founded March 1972 in Gardner. This local chapter has sponsored the Chili, Soup and Pie supper for more than 35 years. All of the chili, soup and pies are made and donated by the members of Gamma Xi with all of the proceeds being used to fund The Mary Casey Scholarship which is awarded to a graduating senior of Gardner-Edgerton High School each year. Education is very important to the members of this organization and last year Gamma Xi was very happy to award the Mary Casey Scholarship to Molly Porter.
