The City of Edgerton, KS is recruiting for the following position:

School Crossing Guard
The School Crossing Guard will be to stop and hold traffic while children attending Edgerton Elementary are crossing Nelson Street within the designated crosswalk before and after school. This is a part-time position under the direct supervision of the Assistant City Administrator. Our ideal candidate is punctual and able to work with minimum supervision. They enjoy working with children. The ideal candidate also is able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. The School Crossing Guard will also be responsible for reporting to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office the tag numbers of individuals refusing to stop when signaled to do so, and may be called to Edgerton Municipal Court to assist in the prosecution of any such individuals.
