Robert A. Jeanneret

Robert A. Jeanneret, 66, of Spring Hill, Kan. passed away Oct. 29, 2013 at Vintage Park, in Gardner.

Robert was born Jan. 2, 1947 in Seneca, Kan. to Arthur J and Cecil F (Carney) Jeanneret. He grew up in Centralia where he graduated from Centralia High School in 1965.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he lived in Shawnee and moved to Spring Hill in 1990.

Bob was the owner of Bob’s Painting and Home Improvement for many years before his last employment with Zimmerman Construction.

He loved to tinker around his farm and enjoyed helping his neighbors. His dog Jake was a very special companion. Robert will be missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by sons Jeff and wife Audrea, of Olathe and Brad and wife Amy, of Kailua, Hawaii; sisters Gladys and husband Mack Kanoy and Brenda and husband Gerald Dailey, all of Bonner Springs, Kan. and five grandchildren.

A prayer service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Nov. 2 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS (913)856-7111. Private family burial will be held at Centralia Cemetery, Centralia, Kan. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. before the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com.
