Ridin’ with Reece Poker Run is set for Oct. 5

The third annual Ridin’ with Reece Poker run is set for Oct. 5.
The event raises funds for traumatic brain injury patients in need at the University of Kansas Hospital.
In August 2006, Reece Good, formerly of Gardner, was returning home with two friends from Sturgis. The victim of a drive-by shooting, Good was shot in the head and suffered a traumatic brain injury. His family, friends and staff at KU Hospital helped Good recover from his injuries.
Good, who owns a custom motorcycle business, created the Ridin’ with Reece Poker Run to thank bikers, hot rodders and friends who assisted him in his time of need.
Registration for the ride will be at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Tumbleweed in Gardner. Runners will make stops at Chili Jacks in Wellsville, Cutter’s in Eudora, and Kobi’s Bar and Grill in Bonner Springs before returning to the Tumbleweed.
For more information, call Reece at (913)593-5707; Joyce at (913)486-9001 or Dan at (913)707-2931.
