Regional loss ends Bronco baseball season

A 10-0 loss to St. James Academy in the 4A regional brought the season to a close for Coach Dave Londene and his Spring Hill Bronco baseball team.
Despite the loss, Spring Hill compiled an impressive 17-6 overall record and finished second in the Frontier League.
“We had another solid season,” said Londene. “We started the season 1-4 and then went 14-1 to end the regular season at 15-5.”
Spring Hill will lose 13 seniors to graduation, including three-year varsity starters Derek Bybee and Carson King, and two-year varsity starters Miles Updike and Jeff Lovetinsky.
The Broncos will rebuild around starting pitchers Zach Girrens (6-1) and Lake Johnson (5-0), Dalton Young, and Cory Spader.
