800 block of N. Jackson

Police responded to report of child abuse. Incident is under investigation.

500 block of W. Davis

Police responded to a report of witness intimidation related to an earlier report of child abuse. The incident is under investigation.

700 block of N. Jackson

Police assisted Social and Rehabilitation Services in removing a child from the home. The child was placed with relatives living in the area.

June 4

Milridge and Hale St.

Police responded to a hit and run accident. An unknown vehicle struck a 2005 Hyundai owned by Laurie Gathje and fled the scene. Minor damage. The incident is under investigation.

500 block of N. Jackson

Police responded to a report of suspicious activity. A caller reported that someone was creeping around outside a residence. Police did not find anyone.

22300 block of W. Harrison

Police recovered lost property – a wallet and a digital camera.

June 8

223rd and Harrison St.

Police responded to report of a woman striking a parked car in the Price Chopper parking lot. The incident is under investigation as police await toxicology results.

100 block of E. Lawrence

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property. A victim reported his front door had been kicked in. Nothing was taken and the incident is under investigation.

Police took a courtesy accident report. Mary Busby, Arlington, Texas; was driving a 2006 Grand Prix when it struck a 2006 Mazda 3 owned by Jamie Stewart of Paola.

19100 block of Madison

Police took a report of a lost license tag.

500 block of W. Allen

Police responded to a domestic disturbance and also discovered criminal damage to property at the scene. A subject was arrest and taken to jail.

New Century Jail

Police served a warrant for failure to appear to Randy J. Pfifer. He was already in custody at the jail. $500 bond.

22300 block of W. Harrison

Police responded to a one car motor vehicle accident. Constance Cook, Olathe, while driving a 2004 Ford Expedition, struck the ice cooler in front of Phillips 66.

200 block of E. Wilson

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property. A subject reported his screen window had been cut.

500 block of W. King

Police responded to a vehicle lockout. They were successful in unlocking the car door.

500 block of S. Main

Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property. Subject reported damage to a fence. Police determined it was a civil issue over property lines between neighbors.

19100 block of Madion

Police received lost property. They recovered a green backpack and clothes.

100 block of E. Nichols

Police cited a minor for minor in consumption and public intoxication. The minor reported he had been struck in the face. Police cited a second subject for battery and providing alcohol to a minor. Charges are pending.

Police responded to a report of telephone harassment. The incident is under investigation.

Olathe Police served a Spring Hill warrant for Justin J. Claar.

Police responded to a civil concern between two subjects. The parties were separated.

300 block of E. Nichols

Police responded to a hit and run accident. An unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle – a 2001 silver Pontiac Grand Prix owned by Danny Napier. Police later cited Darnisha McHie for failure to report an accident, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license.

22300 block of Harrison

Police responded to a gas drive off at Phillips 66. Loss was $60.

20800 block Cottonwood

Police responded to a report of theft. A subject reported $165 worth of tools from the back of a truck.

U.S. 169 and 199th St.

Police responded to an accident. Randall Fields, Leavenworth, struck a deer in his 2006 Jeep Commander. There was extensive damage to the front end of the vehicle.

600 block of N. Webster

Gas drive off. $29 loss

June 13

200 block W. Spring

Officers arrested a female subject for domestic battery against her husband. She was arrested and taken to New Century Jail.

June 14

20400 block of W. 201st

Police responded to report of a verbal disturbance. Parties were separated. No arrests were made.

400 block of W. Wilson

Police took a report of a stolen Kansas 30-day-temporary tag. The incident is under investigation.
