Planners from Gardner, Edgerton, Johnson County, the Kansas Department of Transportation and the Mid-America Regional Council will host meetings to gather public input on a southwest Johnson County development plan.
The Feb. 28 meeting is the second in a series to discuss land use, area development, transportation, open space, and trails.
The group will present two, identical brief presentations at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 at Gardner City Hall.
After the presentations, the planning team will talk with citizens and interested parties.
The joint planning group hopes to create a plan to guide the future of development in southwest Johnson County.
The open house will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 28 at Gardner City Hall.
