Planners approves LPKC maintenance facility

Several agenda items dealing with the construction of three cargo container storage, repair, and maintenance facilities near Logistics Park Kansas City were the focus of the Edgerton Planning Commission meeting on Dec. 10.
The commission approved four items pertaining to a facility operated by J.B. Hunt Transport. This facility would be located at 30700 W. 191st Street, approximatelytwo-tenths of a mile east of Waverly Road.
The commission also approvedĀ  an amended final site plan and an amended conditional use permit application for TranSpec Leasing, Inc, Tom Hastings, owner.
This property is located at the southwest corner of 191st Street and Waverly Road.
Also, a rezoning request and a conditional use permit were approved for International Transload Logistics for a facility at the southeast corner of 191st Street and Homestead Lane.
Council will need to approve the items as well.
The next planning commission meeting is at 7 p.m., Jan. 14 at Edgerton City Hall.
