Plank, Knorr play in Mo Kan All-Star football game

Matt Plank and Max Knorr of GEHS closed their high school careers in style with participation in the 22nd annual Country Mart Kansas vs. Missouri All-Star football game June 13 at Lee’s Summit North.
Plank played inside linebacker and Knorr was a defensive end for a Kansas team that lost a 36-8 decision to Missouri. The win was the third in a row for Missouri
In the All-Star game, although Kansas still holds the all-time lead at 11-10.
Two of Missouri’s first three touchdowns came courtesy of Kansas mistakes. A fumble caused by a hit in the backfield that jarred the ball loose from Kansas quarterback Skyler Windmiller from Mill Valley gave Missouri the ball on the Kansas 31-yard line. Six plays later Missouri quarterback Scott McBee from Fort Osage punched it in late in the first quarter. From there Missouri rolled to its third straight win.
