Officers investigate social media threat at SHHS

Law enforcement questioned a Spring Hill High School student after a threat was posted on a Facebook page. The threat suggested there would be a gun at the school on May 19.
Officers did not find a weapon, and students and staff were never in any danger. Parents and students received messages about the incident, according to a USD 230 press release.
“The safety of the district’s students and staff members is our highest priority,” the release reads.
