Numbers bode well for Bronco track squad

The Spring Hill High School boys track squad will have numbers on their side when they enter season-opening competition March 30 at the Baldwin Invitational.

Coach Brent Smitheran reported 45 boys to camp Feb. 28 in preparation for the season.

Thirteen letter winners dot the roster as the Broncos will be strong in the sprinting and jumping events.

“Our distance group is fairly young,” said Smitheran. “We also have a large group of talented freshmen which makes for a bright future.”

Field events get underway at 3:30 p.m. in Baldwin.
