Nine Blazers were recently recognized on the All EKL football team.
Headlining the list were First team selections Justin Sikes and Tyler Henry. Sikes, a 6’4” 251 senior offensive lineman anchored right tackle for the Blazers and the majority of the offensive plays ran behind his blocks.
“Justin gave great effort and the coaches of the league took notice,” said coach Marvin Diener.
Equally impressive was Henry, a 5’9” 192 pound sophomore linebacker. He played inside linebacker and led the team with 94 total tackles and had eleven tackles for loss.
“Tyler is only a sophomore, but carries himself like a veteran and we look forward to having his leadership and outstanding play the next two seasons, said Diener.
