Mustangs win in overtime against SH

Tanner Peine plunged into the end zone from one yard out helping the Wheatridge Middle School seventh-grade JV to a 12-6 overtime win versus Spring Hill, Oct. 6.
After a defensive stand in overtime, WMS went to work. Austyn Hatton rushed the ball to the three-yard line. From there, Peine found the end zone behind the offense line work of Hunter Hutchinson, Daniel Yount and Tyler Conway.
WMS scored first on a nine-yard touchdown run by Hatton. Spring Hill tied the game 6-6 midway through the third quarter forcing overtime.
