The WMS Mustangs seventh and eighth grade track teams turned in impressive performances at the Eudora Triangular last week.
For the seventh grade girls, Ashton Keith took gold in the shot put with a toss of 27’2” and took fourth place in the discus.
Kelly Smith took second in the 100 meter hurdles and the sprint medley and 400 relays took second place.
For the eighth grade girls, the 400 relay took first in a time of 57.27.
Zoe Daniels took first in the 200 meters with a time of 28.7, third place in the long jump and fourth place in the 100 hurdles. Taylor Grasser took second in the 100 meter race, 200 meters and the long jump.
The seventh grade boys got a gold medal effort from Ethan Reynolds who won the high jump and long jump and he took second in the 400 meter race.
In eighth grade boys competition, Chance Reeves took second in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Telven McKelvey took second in the 100 meters, long jump and high jump.
