Morning Glory 4-H

AJ Myers
Club reporter
The March meeting of the Morning Glory 4-H started of with an educational tour of the Chinook Helicopter base in Gardner. The club members got to look through, explore, and ask questions about these cool helicopters. Later that evening we had our normal meeting at the Grange Hall. The meeting was kept lively with a game of “Wax Museum” and a fun sing along to “Everything is Awesome.” We received our ribbons for Regional Club Days and were excited to get a purple. The big topics this time were plans for an exchange meeting in April with Pioneer from De Soto, and the Earth Day Trash Pickup happening at the Gardner Greenway. Our program tonight included two judging activities by Liza Rogers over rabbits and Madeline Allen over fiber arts. We also had a historical speech by Ben Rogers “John Wayne: 1970 God Bless America” and Olivia Rogers in public speaking on “Irena Sendler: Life in a Jar” 4-H to Make the Best Better.
