Morning Glory 4-H

AJ Myers
Club reporter
The February meeting of the Morning Glory 4-H club kicked of with their annual box supper dinner. Families were encouraged to have a theme dinner, table and costumes. There were several really great ones with prizes going for “Best Theme”  to the Rogers with the 50’s, “Best Menu” the Eccles with Mexican Pastry, and a tie for “Best Decorations” going to Camping by the Good Family & Star Wars by the Iverson Family. Great job everyone.
Next up was the parent led business portion of the evening. This kept several parents very busy doing many different club positions. The club had five guests to join us this month. The Community Leaders being filled in by the kids handed out ribbons from County Club Days several blues and a large amount of purples went to all the participants. Our club also took Top Purple in the Model Meeting portion of Club Days which will send us to Regionals in March. The program was given by Mrs. Iverson talking about gerbils, Mrs. Myers demonstrated how to fold a fitted sheet, and Mrs. Burling talking about shooting sports.  4-H to Make the Best Better.
