Morning Glory

AJ Myers
Club reporter
The January meeting of the Morning Glory 4-H was led by the clubs junior officers for the evening. It was also the annual Safety Program that featured fire fighter Rob Shippy and parent helper Tiffany Hueser who tried on the clothes and mask used during a fire emergency.
The club’s 4-H Information Officer Jackson Holle had several fun facts about 4-H to share, such as 14 governors including Sam Brownback  are from Kansas, along with several famous people like Faith Hill & David Letterman. Big reminder for Club Days happening on Feb. 8 at Wheat Ridge Middle School.
Next month will feature a box supper before the meeting. Parents will be leading next months meeting which includes reports and demonstrations.  The program this month included a project talk over Shooting Sports by Ben Burling and an informative talk by AJ Myers about the Newsboy Strike of 1899.
