Moonlight Elementary receives grant for fitness program

Moonlight Elementary School will receive a $565 grant from the Clorox Company Foundation Community Development Program. Kyle Amos, physical education teacher, wrote the grant proposal requesting funding to implement the Skillastics Program at the school.

The program provides a series of fitness and sport-specific game kits that allow children of varying ages and fitness levels to enjoy being active. The funding will be used to purchase the Skillastics Fitness Program, the Skillastics Basketball Program and the Skillastics Half-Pint Program.
