Michael John Caudill

Michael John Caudill, 47, of Gardner, Kan., passed away June 23, 2013 at his home.

Michael was born March 17, 1966 in Davenport, Iowa. He grew up in Illinois and lived in Olathe before moving to Gardner in 1986.

He worked heavy construction for Walgreen’s.

He was an avid poker player and especially liked Texas Hold ‘Em. Michael enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Phillip John and Marie (St. Clair) Caudill and brother Dick.

Michael is survived by his children Spc. Michael John Caudill, Jr. of Ft. Riley, Kan., Courtnie Beth Eastland and husband Sgt. Matthew Eastland of Chesapeake, V.A., and Travis Crowder of Overland Park, Kan.; four grandchildren, Mariah, James, Piper and Vash; brothers Rodney, Jamie, Casey, and Danny; sisters Tamara, Jodi and Kelli and ex-wife Tammie (Caudill) Holman.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m., June 30, 2013 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS (913)856-7111. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Caudill Memorial Fund. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com.
