A Boy Scout assists American Legion Auxiliary members in fluffing poppies for veterans’ graves prior to Memorial Day. Veterans in VA hospitals hand-make the poppies that are traditionally used to decorate graves. Boy Scouts, Legion members and members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars decorate local graves each year in honor of the holiday.
