Maxwell carries Jags past Baldwin

Baylor Maxwell rushed for 113 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns leading the Pioneer Ridge seventh grade varsity football team to a 34-8 win at Baldwin, Sept. 24.
Maxwell scored on a 45 yard run from the halfback position and returned an interception 56 yards for another score.
Gage Gulley added a 35 yard touchdown reception from quarterback Brody Marshall.
Carlos Gaeta also had a 30 yard touchdown run.
Defensively, linebackers Carson Williams and Kaleb Smith recorded six tackles apiece. Linebacker Andrew Adams and defensive end Gabe Mendez had five tackles each cornerback Taven Eubank had four tackles and a 25 yard interception return.
With the win, the Jags moved to 3-1 on the season.
